FSV Hook (Force, Search, Vent) 5 Ft

5 Ft FSV stands for "Force, Search, Vent" — a combination between our NY style Roof Hook and our TD30 Halligan.

The FSV Hook has several standard design elements, including:

~ Drop-forged high-carbon steel hook-head and fork-end.
~ 1 in. diameter DOM (Drawn Over Mandrel) steel tubing for strength and reduced weight.
~ No rubber or foam grips, so it can be used straight out of the box, or customized by the end-user/firefighter.

Unique design elements include:

~ A slot forged into the lower hook, allowing the forks of a traditional Halligan to be married to it.
~ The tip of the upper hook comes to a point, so it can be used to break tempered glass/auto-glass, or pierce roof decking to add safety and foot support during roof work.
~ The fork-end matches the one found on the TD30 Halligan, tuned and dressed.

This is a custom order item — it's fulfilled after you order rather than shipped from on-hand stock.
