FSV Hook (Force, Search, Vent) 4 Ft

FSV stands for “Force, Search, Vent” and is a combination between our NY style Roof Hook and our TD30 Halligan.

The FSV Hook has many standard design elements, which include:

~ Drop-forged high-Carbon steel hook-head and fork-end.

~ 1 in. diameter DOM (Drawn Over Mandrel) steel tubing for strength and reduced weight.

~ No rubber or foam grips, so that it can be used straight out of the box, or customized by the end-user/firefighter.

Unique design elements include:

~ A slot forged into the lower hook, to allow the forks of a traditional Halligan to be married.

~ The tip of the upper hook comes to a point, so that it can be used to break tempered glass/auto-glass, or pierce roof decking to add safety and foot support, during roof work.

~ The Fork-end is the same found on the TD30 Halligan, which is tuned and dressed.
